Ski wear
Are you on the lookout for ski clothes? Find cheap skiwear for men here at Cheap-workwear.com, from brands like Stormtech, Craft, Helly Hansen, Marathon, Under Armor and many more. We have both skiwear for those trying it out for the first time, but also for more experienced skiers. We have a large selection where you can choose from many different colours such as black, blue, green, grey, red and orange. Furthermore, we have many sizes between XS - 5XL. Something common to all our skiwear is that it is waterproof, windproof and breathable while being manufactured in high quality. To extend and maintain the durability of the waterproof and breathable properties for as long as possible, it is recommended you impregnate your ski jacket and ski trousers with our membrane impregnation, which you can find here.
A large selection of skiwear
Here at Cheap-workwear.com, you will find a large range of skiwear, with a selection that includes the following:
- Ski jackets - you will find parka jackets, shell jackets, 3-in-1 jackets, softshell jackets and much more. The ski jackets have many practical features such as a lift card pocket, snow skirt and taped seams. When you are investing in new skiwear or if you are buying ski clothing for the first time, it’s a good idea to choose a ski jacket that you can also use as a regular winter jacket.
- Ski trousers - here you will find both shell trousers and lined ski trousers, which depends on your needs and the weather conditions where you are going. Shell trousers simply consist of a shell, and have no insulation or lining. The advantage of choosing a pair of shell trousers is that it is easy to customise your attire by layering clothing underneath according to your needs and the temperature. Lined ski trousers, on the other hand, are a good choice for those of you who feel the cold easily, or if your skiing destination has very cold weather conditions. Combine your ski trousers with a ski jacket and create your own ski set, which serves as a kind of skiing suit.
- Ski midlayers - can be fleece sweaters and midlayers available in many different thicknesses and styles.
- Ski underwear - Choose from great fabrics such as wool, cotton and synthetic materials. The advantage of choosing polyester ski underwear is that it is very sweat-wicking and quick-drying. If you want to choose wool underwear on the other hand, you are guaranteed fantastic warmth-regulating features, as it keeps you warm when it’s cold, as well as keeping you cool when it gets hot. You should be aware however, that there is a lot of ski underwear that is not 100% wool. The reason for this is that the inside of the ski underwear should not scratch and therefore the material is not pure wool. Ski underwear is the innermost layer and so the most important thing is that it is comfortable. If you go ahead and choose ski underwear in wool, we recommend that you purchase our wool detergent here. In using this wool detergent, the natural properties of the wool are maintained and insulated in the best possible way.
- Ski gloves - we have both finger gloves and mittens. Ski mittens have good warming properties, keeping the fingers close and generating warmth. Ski gloves, on the other hand, would be a good choice if you want greater freedom of movement. It is really important that you choose the right size when choosing ski gloves or ski mittens. If there is not enough space in the glove, you may run the risk of freezing cold fingers, no matter how warm the ski gloves or ski mittens you purchased are. We recommend that you choose a size that fits snugly on your hand, but at the same time, it is important that air can circulate around your fingers and fingertips to provide better insulation.
- Ski socks - for example come in merino wool and Thermolite fabric that insulates against the cold and keeps you warm. We recommend that you choose ski socks that are right/left sewn for an optimal fit. Your feet are not the same, so your ski socks should not be either. If you really feel the cold and need extra heat, then take a look at our disposable heating pouches. They can be used in boots, gloves and pockets. The pouches heat up to 40 degrees and stay warm for up to 8 hours.
Keep warm - layer by layer
With the cold weather conditions on your ski vacation, a ski jacket and a pair of skiing trousers is not enough. We therefore recommend that you use the so-called three-layer principle, consisting of ski underwear, an intermediate layer and an outer layer with ski jacket and skiing trousers. It can be difficult to determine how much clothing to wear when heading out on the ski run. You would prefer not to freeze, but conversely you don’t want to feel too hot, and you also want to be able to move. We recommend using the layer-by-layer method so that you can adjust the heat yourself by applying several layers or shedding some layers as the weather permits.
