The Deerhunter Explore Light Hunting Jacket is constructed with a Deer-Tex® Performance Shell, a material known for being stretchable, waterproof, windproof, and breathable. Additionally, it offers a 2-way stretch and taped seams to increase durability. The materials are PFAS/PFC free, ensuring that they are free of harmful fluorinated substances that can potentially harm humans or the environment.

Its key features include a high collar, a full-length YKK® zipper, adjustable sleeve widths with press-studs, and a storm flap. The jacket showcases ergonomically shaped sleeves for optimal freedom of movement. Noteworthy pockets include the front pockets, chest pocket, hand warmers, and one hare pocket. All come with zippers for secure storage, and the chest pocket even features an opening for an antenna.
