Flamestat and Flame – two approaches to flame protection 

Fristads offers two primary collections designed to provide flame-retardant properties: 

• Flamestat: Made with inherent flame-resistant fibers, this clothing retains its protective properties throughout the entire lifespan of the garment. At the same time, it offers both comfort and durability. 
• Flame: These garments are made from textiles treated with a special coating that provides permanent flame resistance, if the recommended washing and care instructions are followed. 

Both Flamestat and Flame collections feature high-visibility properties and are certified according to EN ISO 20471. This way, you get multinorm protection and visibility protection combined in one product. 

The full multinorm range from Fristads is available for men and women. Both are developed with the same high safety standards but tailored to fit men and women respectively. 

High-visibility clothing: Achieve the highest safety class by combining your workwear 

All high-visibility workwear is dual-certified according to EN ISO 20471 and divided into three different classes – 1, 2, and 3 – depending on the level of visibility. Class 3 offers the highest level of visibility. In the Fristads range, all collections are co-certified, meaning garments in class 1, 2, or 3 can be combined in different ways to achieve a higher safety class. 

Each product is assigned a specific code based on the type of garment and the size of the fluorescent and reflective areas. You can find this code either on the garment itself or in the product information under each product. By using the co-certification table, you can easily see which safety class you achieve by combining trousers (T) or shorts (S) with a jacket, sweatshirt, T-shirt (U), or waistcoat (W).
